Generally, it is carried out after the quality of various processes such as pasting resistance strain gauges, pressure curing, post curing, quality inspection, pasting terminals, welding wire bridges, and measuring insulation resistance is qualified. The elastic components should be taken out of the box and coated with protective surface adhesive in a dry environment. Its purpose is to prevent the resistance strain gauge from getting damp during the production process and lay a foundation for final protection and sealing. There are many materials used for the protective coating of resistance strain gauges, and the representative one is the M-CoatC protective surface adhesive produced by VISHAY Company in the United States. It is a solvent diluted RTV silicone rubber that forms a tough and elastic transparent film after curing, and has good mechanical, electrical properties, and chemical corrosion resistance. The film thickness of its coating is 0.4-0.5mm. SN-4 chloroprene rubber and BARRIER-C non corrosive silicone rubber produced by German HBM company. Secondly, after applying protective surface adhesive to the resistance strain gauge, surface sealing, blind hole filling or welding sealing treatment can be carried out according to the different structures of the elastic components of the weighing sensor. Welding sealing is an effective way to improve the environmental adaptability of the weighing sensor, with electron beam welding and laser welding being more commonly used.
