Internal factors affecting the measurement accuracy of load cell in mixing plants

At present, the weighing sensors for concrete mixing plants generally use resistance strain gauges. Its working principle is based on the elastic deformation of the elastic body (elastic element) under external force, causing the resistance strain gauge (conversion element) pasted on its surface to deform at the same time, thereby causing the resistance value of the strain gauge to change (increase or decrease). Then, the corresponding measurement circuit converts the change in resistance into an electrical signal (voltage or current), Output an electrical signal proportional to weight to achieve the purpose of measuring weight. Therefore, the manufacturing process quality of elastomers, resistance strain gauges, strain adhesives, and measuring circuits is the key to affecting the measurement accuracy of weighing sensors.

Elastomer is a structural component with a special shape. Its functions are twofold. Firstly, it bears the external force acting on the weighing sensor. Secondly, it generates a high-quality strain zone, allowing the resistance strain pasted in this zone to complete the signal conversion task. Therefore, it can be said that the metal material material of elastomers, forging, mechanical processing, heat treatment, and surface treatment of metal materials are supporting processes to ensure the measurement accuracy of weighing sensors, which determine the hardenability, strength and toughness, fatigue strength, etc. of elastomers. The resistance strain gauge is the core component of the weighing sensor, and its working principle is based on the resistance strain effect of the material, which is pasted onto the elastic element of the sensor with adhesive. Its own manufacturing process and strain gauge adhesive (strain adhesive) are the basic processes to ensure the measurement accuracy of weighing sensors; The core process to ensure the measurement accuracy of weighing sensors is the pasting, curing, bridging, protection and sealing, circuit compensation and adjustment of resistance strain gauges. From pasting to circuit compensation, no matter which stage of the process is not up to standard, even using the best strain gauges is of no use.
