A load cell, a type of load cell, is a device that converts a mass signal into a measurable electrical signal output. Common load cell sensors are mostly resistance strain sensors. When using a sensor, the actual working environment in which the sensor is located must be considered. This is crucial to the correct selection of the sensor. It is related to whether the sensor can work normally, its safety and service life, and even the reliability and safety of the entire weighing instrument. The following editor will introduce to you "what will happen if the load cell sensor is broken, how to test the load cell sensor"
一. What will happen if the load cell sensor is broken?
The most basic failure performance is weighing imbalance, which simply means that it cannot be weighed or cannot be weighed accurately. First you need to check what went wrong.
1. First find the damaged sensor, open its cover, then use a jack to open the scale body, and take out the ground wire of the sensor.
2. Then open the junction box, remove the sensor and the line connected to the limit, and connect the cable of the new sensor to the original connector. Find the picture on the instruction manual, and fix each line to the corresponding position of the junction box according to the above schematic diagram.
3. Withdraw the jack slowly, then cover the outer cover of the sensor and tighten the screws.
4. When the weighbridge sensor is loose, it can be rotated by hand. At this time, the sensor is under little or no force, resulting in unstable zero point of the empty table and inaccurate weighing data. If the height adjustment of the sensor adopts a spiral lifting structure, first loosen the spare nut of the sensor base with a hook wrench, then tighten the sensor with a hook wrench, and finally lock the spare nut to avoid loosening again.
5. When the groove of the pressure head of the weighbridge sensor is too deep, it will affect the sensitivity of the sensor. When weighing, after the truck stops, the instrument will display data slowly. The solution is to jack up the weighing beam with a jack, and use a gasket between the sensor and the upper pressure head. The best solution is to replace the sensor head with a suitable one.
6.If the force on the load cell is uneven, it will be out of tolerance at a certain point during the verification. In the empty scale state, judge whether each sensor is evenly stressed by the internal code value displayed by each sensor in the meter. Since the sensor adopts a spiral lifting structure, when the force on the sensor is uneven, the sensor can be adjusted with a hook wrench to make it evenly stressed
二. How to test the load cell sensor
Separately remove the electronic scale sensor that needs to be judged from the electronic scale, and measure the input impedance and output impedance respectively. The normal value of the input impedance is 3800, and the normal value of the output impedance is 3500. If the measured data is not within this range, it means that the sensor has been damaged.
If there is an open circuit in the input impedance and output impedance, first check whether the sensor signal cable is disconnected. When the signal circuit is intact, it can be judged that the sensor strain gauge is burned.
